Lapful of Kitties

A recent trip to visit an old friend I hadn't seen in about 25 years for a few days allowed me to sit on the sofa with a lapful of kitties, numbering from 1 to 6 at any given time.  It was wonderful!!  There's something very comforting and restful about a lapful of warm purring fur!  They were all very sweet and will make someone great pets.  They were dropped off at my friend's house because they knew she would find good forever homes for them or keep them herself.  She loves cats and dogs.  I know the feeling.
