Pythagorean Tree in the Autumn Sunset

This is a possible entry into the Challenge 48 "Pythagora's Trees" (sic).  Here's the link to the journal article about it. Challenge No 48 - Pythagora's TreeSorry for being late to post the results of challenge 46 and the new challenge. I was in an enchanting place out in the countryside. However, the Internet access was far from enchanting and I could barely look at pages, let alone produce one. So here we go on Monday.

Challenge No 48 - Pythagora's Tree
Using IDeviant's excellent tutorial, our goal this week is to work with this canonical fractal form, the Pythagora's tree.

This one took a little playing around with.  I didn't want a tree that looked too much like a stick figure.  I hope I succeeded in giving my little tree some character.  A little gnarly looking, but I think of it as a very old tree in the autumn sunset of it's life.


Created in Apophysis 7X v15, enlarged in Benvista PhotoZoom Classic and postwork done in PhotoShop CS5.
